The owners and operators of Maldini Café Restaurant are Bruno Di Tommaso and his son Dante. This is a family business built on friendly service, lasting relationships, close-bonded teamwork and, most of all, outstanding Italian food prepared from the freshest Tasmanian ingredients.
The Di Tommaso family migrated to Australia from the Abruzzo region, on the Adriatic coast in southern Italy – an area known for its grapes and olives, and with a strong culture of hearty home cooking. Food and wine are in their blood.
Bruno Di Tommaso has been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years and Dante Di Tommaso has been in the business for 15 years.
“Food gets people talking,” says Bruno. “We want your experience at Maldini’s to be memorable for fine food and the happiest of times.”
